Non Motor Claims Handler

Responsibilities

  • Attend to non-motor claims from inception to their final settlement
  • Assist clients in lodging claims and in claims procedures to be followed
  • Record claim forms, statements from clients and witnesses
  • Initiate and monitor the claims development process and procedures
  • Instruct, liaise and discuss with loss adjusters, surveyors and other service providers
  • Assess and adjust claims
  • Negotiate with Insurers, Insureds, Agents and Brokers for the settlement of the claims

Requirements Qualifications and Experience

  • Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
  • Certificate/Diploma in Insurance, Law or related field
  • Good communication skills – both written and oral
  • Outgoing personality
  • Excellent customer care values/standards
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Be proactive, dynamic and result oriented
  • Proficient with MS Office Tools
  • At least 3 years’ working experience in non motor claims handling
